Palace Meaning
Life Palace (命宮) is one of the twelve palaces in Zi Wei Dou Shu. The Life Palace governs innate personality, outward demeanor, behavioral patterns, and the overarching tone of one's life. It is the most critical palace in a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart — the 'soul' of the entire reading.
The core question it answers: “Who am I at my core? What is the fundamental tone of my life?”
