Formation Conditions
The Direct Officer Pattern forms when the Month Branch contains the element that controls the Day Master with opposite polarity — i.e., the Direct Officer is rooted or transparent. The Officer must remain unharmed by Hurting Officer, and ideally receives support from Wealth (which produces it) or Seal (which it produces). If the Officer is attacked by Hurting Officer or diluted by mixing with Seven Killings, the pattern breaks. In short: 'A clean Officer with proper support.'
