Forms when the Month Branch contains the element that produces the Day Master with opposite polarity — the Direct Seal. The Seal should be strong and preferably supported by Officer Stars (which produce it). Wealth Stars that damage the Seal should be absent or weak. The ideal configuration is 'Officer produces Seal, Seal nourishes the Self' — creating a virtuous cycle of authority supporting wisdom.

- Seal too strong: Excessive Seal energy makes the person overly dependent, passive, and unable to act independently. Academic theorizing replaces practical achievement.
- Owl seizes Food: If Indirect Seal appears and dominates, the gentle nurturing of Direct Seal is replaced by conditional, unpredictable support.
